Alex Pedenko, an experienced CouchDB presenter, will be giving an overview of the database including 'What is NoSQL?', the pros and cons of moving to NoSQL in the wild and running multiple nodes. He'll be explaining how map/reduce operates for CouchDB and demoing a sample .Net App interacting with a CouchDB backend. He'll also show you how to browse the database using LoveSeat, a light-weight editor for CouchDB views he built, and touch on security, replication, and full-text search using Lucene.
